The building, currently the headquarters of YMCA Łódź - the Łódź branch of the Christian Young People Association - Polish YMCA, was constructed in 1932-1935 according to the design by Wiesław Lisowski. It housed the first swimming pool in Lodz (existing to this day). In 1949, a theatre room was added on the western side. This modernistic building is located at 4a Moniuszki Street, between Piotrkowska and Sienkiewicza Streets.
